Student Teaching Intern
I completed my student teaching semester at Scarlett Middle School in Ann Arbor, MI. I worked in a 6th grade mathematics classroom. I was able to observe my mentor teacher, start to co-teach with her, and then design and lead teach on my own unit.
Sept. - Dec. 2023
Pre-Student Teaching Intern
I observed and worked with a 6th grade mathematics teacher (Scarlett Middle School) and a high school Algebra II teacher (Belleville High School). In the Algebra II classroom, I co-planned and co-taught a lesson with another pre-student teaching intern.

Team Leader (July 2022-June 2023):
I worked at Clarke Street School, a K-8 school, alongside a teacher in a 6th grade classroom of 28 students. I also planned and executed weekly ELA, math, and SEL intervention sessions for groups of three students. I acted as a leader on a team of five AmeriCorps members; I made weekly task lists, observed other teammates intervention sessions and gave feedback, and led weekly team meeting. As a team, we planned school-wide events alongside the school staff.
AmeriCorps Member (July 2021-June 2022):
I worked at Clarke Street School alongside a teacher in a 7th grade classroom of 26 students. I planned and executed weekly ELA and math intervention sessions for a group of six students.
